  If i was told armegeddon was coming next week and it didnt I truly wouldnt leave Jehovah because of it.I love worshipping him,he sks nothing of me but to be me and try my best,thats fine :)

  If a brother says the end was coming within months and he was wrong why leave Jah??? Also was that the only reason people came into the truth because they wanted to be saved? Satan will use all tools to mislead us,serving Jah wether or not we make armegeddon doesnt matter to me,serving him is simple and if the wt are liers then why do they also make serving Jah simple?

  Im not having ago,i know typed word can seem that way,i just love Jah so much my heart bursts with love for him and my brothers(which is you guys too)x

  The wt havent lied,they have told what they believed,then as they were guided and given more information they informed us.Surely people werent worshipping Jehovah for selfish motives? If I get everlasting life or not i will always,always love and remain loyal to Jehovah.I dont serve him for any other reason but out of love for him,how could anyone not love him.

  Those who have died made a dedication to Jehovah,they died knowing they would have the resurrection.I know many times things have been taken way out of porportion but if we listen to Jehovah and believe that he sees all things then we have the trust that he will put things right,in his own time.x

  Anyone heard of Watchtower policy change concerning pedophiles

  i'm passing this along from someone else on another discussion board.

  the claim of any substantive change in the policy on pedophiles is news to me.

  can anybody verify or falsify this claim?.

  That just the case over there?? Ive never heard of that over here in England but im definately going to speak with our elders because I dont agree,they should be reported no matter what. Id tell elders and ring the police,Jehovah wouldnt want them in the congregation and if they were truly repentant then they would want to confess,so either way telling the police works for their best interesrt and of course the victims!!!

  Are you saying Bethal has to be told and then the police or that someone tells Bethal and leaves it at that??

  I'd like to check with my elders see what they say because thats completely wrong!!! I dont agree.Id definately tell the police,afterall aslong as im doing whats right in Jehovahs eyes thats all that matters,I was baptised for Jehovah not man.

  Please let me know as im really interested and yes i have written to bethal before,if i dont agree i wont cause distruption but i wont remain quiet,I'll always check things out.My congregation seem ok with it....so far

  As Jah reveals new light then we are directed and informed.I guess faith has alot to do with it though and yes i empathise that years ago sadly many brothers would take things out of context and drill it into their children that they wouldnt bring children up in this system etc but thats them who misinformed and took the information and handled it wrong,not Jehovah.Jehovah always lovingly directs us,he never wants any of us to be hurt and he truly is more sad than i am to see how so many people have been affected in the truth and fell away due to parents or elders being far too strict and being overboard.

  Dont leave Jehovah because of men......because then i lose wonderful brothers too and i love you all.x

  should i report this child abuser?

  i've already posted this on a recent thread, but just in case it gets ignored, i wanted it to have a thread of its own.

  as i'm quite uncertain as to what to do.... in the area that i just moved to i have discovered that there is a jw here that i used to know.

  the interesting thing about this jw is that when i knew him 20 years ago he fled my congo because a young sister spoke up and said that he had been raping her for years as a child.
